AI & Machine Learning for Kids: What It Actually Looks Like

Most kids' exposure to "AI" today is typing a prompt into a chatbot. CodingChamp's AI & Machine Learning course is built to go one level deeper — how these systems actually work, not just how to use them.

What students actually do

Built on the Python foundation from our other courses, students:

  • Train simple image and text classifiers themselves, rather than just using a pre-built one.
  • Experiment hands-on with tools like Google's Teachable Machine to see a model learn in real time.
  • Build beginner chatbots from the ground up.
  • Learn, in plain language, how a machine learning model is actually trained — no math-heavy prerequisites required.

The part most courses skip: AI ethics

Alongside the technical side, the course covers how AI is used — and misused — in the real world: bias in training data, privacy, and what responsible use actually looks like. That's a deliberate choice, not an afterthought — kids using these tools should understand their limits, not just their capabilities.

Who it's for

Grade 5-12 students who've completed (or are comfortable with) the fundamentals from our Python course — that foundation is assumed going in.

Taught live, across every time zone

There's no physical AI lab required — classes run live online with a real instructor, scheduled to work for families in India, the US, Dubai, or anywhere else in the world.
